Hansweert, village by the sea...

On the long concrete retaining wall that is part of the dyke reinforcement project Hansweert, a song text celebrating the village will soon be installed. We created the graphic design together with Raakvlak ontwerp en communicatie.

The first tests have been carried out with the sandblasting of the concrete and the brass letters that will be placed in it. The use of coarse or fine grit, the distance of the blasting equipment from the wall, whether or not the letters should be taped off or blasted: all exciting design choices we were able to make on site together with the contractor Combinatie Answest and landscape architect Robbert de Koning. The residents of Hansweert may start practising the song!
