Rietveld Landscape wins Rotterdam Designprijs with Vacant NL

On the 12th of February, after a lively debate with the jury members, the winner of the Rotterdam Design Prize 2011 was announced: "Vacant NL, where architecture meets of ideas by Rietveld Landscape is a political manifesto with a clear format and clear aesthetics. The analog manifestation of something very abstract as space is makes in a physical way a big problem in a small country like the Netherlands very clear.

Rietveld Landscape was nominated by Blom & Moors. The international jury consisted of Susan Szenasy, Sebastian Wrong and Lars Müller.
